Four services, one report

Bay Area AEO describes four services. The first is an AI visibility audit; the others are entity and listing cleanup, answer-ready content, and citations and reviews. They are connected by one monthly measurement, so whatever the agency changes for a client shows up in the same place: the answers AI assistants give to that client's customers.

The audit

The audit comes first. Bay Area AEO asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Claude the questions the business's customers ask, then shows three things: who gets named, how the business is described, and why. The "why" is the part most owners have never seen. It points to the listings and reviews, and the outside pages, that the assistant leaned on, which turns a vague worry about AI into a concrete list of sources to fix or earn.

The cleanup

AI assistants pull facts from Google, Bing, Yelp, Apple Maps and industry directories. When those sources disagree about a name, hours or a service, the assistant hedges or skips the business. The cleanup makes the details match everywhere the assistants look. On its coffee shop page the agency notes that opening times are the most common error it finds, and it fixes them everywhere so AI never sends someone to a closed door. The entity and listings entry covers this service in more depth.

The content

Answer-ready content means service pages and FAQs, with structured data, that answer real customer questions in plain language, so AI has something specific to quote. The agency works with the client's existing website. Its stated position on a rebuild is that one is usually not needed: it adds the clear service pages, FAQs, structured data and accurate business details that AI needs to the site the business already has.

The mentions and reviews

The fourth service earns mentions in local press and in the guides and directories that AI trusts, and sets up a review process that gets customers describing what the business does best. Reviews that name a dish, a treatment, a neighborhood or a staff member give an assistant words it can repeat. The agency states plainly that it never uses fake reviews, spam or tactics that could backfire.

The monthly report

Every month the client's prompt list runs again across each platform. The report shows how often the business is mentioned, how it is described, which competitors appear and which sources the AI cites. Because the same questions run each time, the client can compare this month's answers with last month's and with the answers from before the work began. The report fields entry explains each field, and before and after answers explains how the comparison is read.

In plain English

One of the agency's four principles is "Plain English, always." AI search is new and full of jargon, so the agency explains what it is doing, why it matters and what it is changing, with before-and-after answers to show it. For an owner, that means a report written to be read by the person who runs the business. Clients get the actual answers the assistants gave, with the reasons behind them.
